STOP MOB
Gülten Eminovski has created a toolkit for children, parents and teachers. STOPMOB helps children develop positive thoughts, feelings and behavior in order to strengthen social inclusion.
The changing societal structures in Denmark create new challenges for the modern family. One such challenge is families have less time to spend together and are not as present when they do. As a result, many children do not have the environment to develop peace, balance, and self-understanding, which creates difficulties when they try to accept others’ differences. Furthermore, increasingly more children are being diagnosed with disorders such as ADHD, and teachers often lack the knowledge to approach these new challenges associated with attention. As a consequence, children are not well equipped to deal with bullying, social exclusion, distractions, and restless behaviors.
Gülten Eminovski created StopMob to solve this challenge. StopMob is a toolkit for children, teachers, and educators, as well as parents. The toolkit provides practical training on how adults can work with children to help them become more aware of and build bridges between their thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Gülten aims to help children break away from negative thoughts and build positive thought patterns. Through these methods, she hopes children will be able to achieve better understanding of themselves, create peace and balance in the mind and body, and develop more abilities to take care of themselves and others.
