Although most people think of gifted children as content, successful and happy individuals that are good at everything, they are often lonely, exposed to pressure to adapt to others and unhappy since they have no place to satisfy their interests and needs. Our society does not offer enough professional and personal support to gifted children.

Solution

‘Iskrice’ (Sparkles) – a program by the ‘Vjetar u leđa’ (‘Tail Wind’) association implements a holistic approach in working with gifted children and instigates critical, creative, scientific and productive thinking, emotional intelligence, social skills, presentation skills and learning skills in them. This way, we satisfy their needs, help them accept themselves and learn the skills needed for a safe growth and development in a challenging environment.
