Problem

Children are not safe while surfing the internet. According to scientific researches they are increasingly exposed to dangerous contacts and harmful content in this space. Social campaigns are being carried out too far from the field where problems are growing. Mostly adults and not children are likely to be reached by them. At the same time children begin to use smart mobile devices too early, they are too young to understand the threats.

Solution

Internet surfer is a mobile learning application on the subject of internet safety for children.

My nine years old sun inspired me to create this project. He and his friends already have facebook accounts and they are browsing the net without supervision. And basically for entertainment only.

I know as a parent how hard sometimes it is to motivate them to learn. So I came up with the idea of smart pocket money. It is a reward system for showing good results in learning (starting with the subject of Internet safety). Children can be rewarded with digital gift card to buy digital goods on the internet (movies, games, books, etc.).
